why the high graphics card requierment?
unfortunatly my graphics card is one generation below what i need to play the game. now im not saying a HD5000 card is high but considering thats way above the requierment for the regular doom 3 edition.(and not much has changed visually) why the huge change?

It's using newer Directx version, requiring the higher performance card.

Im using hd radeon 6670 and a 2.31 ghz quad core and im geting low fps for some reason on doom bfg dont know why. half life 2 looks way better then doom bfg and I max it out with 120 fps. Skyrim has a better fps on maxed out for me then doom bfg and bdl2 has better fps maxed out so what is the issue another crap coded game like crysis and csgo?

The three games you cited rely on DirectX, while Doom 3 BFG heavily uses OpenGL. I don't know if this is your problem, but it could be.

there is no huge change. My notebook's HD7470M can run this 60+ fps easily with all maxed out. And I'm talking about card that can't run CoD4 at any res on low. Besides you can stick to vanilla doom 3 anyway, you'll lose nothing.

I have a HD 4850 (dx 10.1)and the minimum requiriments of D3BGF ask for hd 5750. Why??? This game only work on dx 11 cards ???
