Inverted controls
Am I missing the setting that inverts the controls for the XBox 360 controller. I can't play this game when I push up it looks up. It's not natural. I'm pretty sure I've tried everything.

I understand your desire to use inverted controls. I know that Doom 3 does indeed have this setting under options. Not so sure about the other two though.. Probably didnt get worked in.

@geko95gek

Imagine the thumbstick is your neck. When you tilt your neck forward you look down. I haven't even been able to install this game, so I don't if you can "invert" the controls or not.

No, you tilt it back like the stick. Flight controls follow the same premise for the physics.

I googled it. You have to actually select the controller on the settings menu (it seems like its just a header but you actually need to select it. I passed it up myself). A whole new menu will appear with the inversion settings.

Thank you Wolverine that worked. That was too simple, that's why I keep missing it. I can't play an FPS unless I can invert the controls. Justmenow as an FYI you can't look up or down on Doom 1 & 2 but with the BFG edition you can play with the XBox 360 controller unlike the stand alone versions.

Thank you everyone I'm glad to see I didn't waste $5 after all.

When I try it comes up with a bunch of errors like:

Your welcome. I play the same way and came here for a solution. It's funny that I ended up finding it for someone else. Hope it helps someone else as well.

I verified the integrity of the game cache and it said that all files were successfully validated. I updated my video and audio drivers. I checked Direct X for problems. I installed all available optional updates for Windows.

And I tried everything Reaper Madness said here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/208200/discussions/0/864949037794399234/
