I feel so bad for all of you
All of you who either didn't have Xbox Live for the original Xbox or weren't old enough, when Doom 3 was ported to Xbox, they added something no other version had, and turns out never would,
Full go through the whole game, in a SEPERATE STORYLINE CO-OP
It was one of the most funnest experience of my life.

With the original Xbox Live shut down, this experience is gone forever.

Did anyone else have the chance to experience it and got any stories?

I think he meant Xbox Live for the original Xbox.

An FPS on a console? And console newbies wonder why we all hate and laugh at them.

well I do own working port for MAC /doom3 BFG.AND yes, I loved co-op,actually when comparing those two ''same name-same games'' (1st on ''Late2011 MacBook Pro topSpec'' and 3bg Radeon7950 rig....)
I have to say I HAVE BEEN SCREWED AGAIN!
WORST IS I PURCHASED 3 COPIES /2 FOR FRIENDS/......................AND THIS SHAWED DUMBED DOWN ''GAME'' HAPPENS TO CRASH ALL THE TIME.
I THINK I AM DONE WITH STEAM.PAST 10 GAMES PURCHASED NEVER MET STANDARD..AND THEY SHOULD

No, we were laughing. But PC vs Console is a whole 'nother flamefest lol.

Haha :) Littleboy remembers extinction ZxSpectrum ->8bit era ....So hopefully I am wrong....and all predictions and sh=t will not fulfill.Had Consoles, loved them, as soon as my genres started to ease down, so even slow kids on console gamepad could aim at You and have chance to score. Therefore THE BIGGEST brands amongst 1stPersonShooters are SLOOOOOWEEEEEST.

well staying on topic, yes i have a story, me and my homie, were on that one level with the train...trolley? after it crashes and a few scrapes later with a few demons, im liek sitting at like 15ish health, i stop running and tell my friend " listen man, next mfer i see im kamakazing with a grenade". he said "no, dont do it". i see a imp and prime the grenade and run at him, a few seconds and a big flashy boom....i respawn.

No, PCs really weren't different. In 2004 we had 3.0+ ghz pentium 4s, PCIE video cards with a half GB of VRAM and DirectX 9. You console tools were using calculators by comparison, "little boy."

I highly doubt someone that was two years old 10 years ago would know, and PC's were not the same, nor were the games, it was mostly all counter strike,

I'm going to buy this game . . . again . . . and play with a controller just because of this thread.
