No Rest For The Living Mod?
Does anyone know if it's possible to get a mod which allows you to play No Rest For the Living on the normal versions of the classic DooMs?

Well, the NRFTL was a doom 2 expansion originally meant for consoles only originally. Mainly being xbl. Even if you were too do it you'd need zdoom there's no way to launch it through a dos mod without changing the script of how the game runs, so you'd need to be fluent in C++ anyways. Your only real options of running it on a pc would be by having a doom 2 wad, and dragging the nrftl wad into zdoom or a similar launcher. However, the only way you can obtain the wad to do so is illegal. So, for your sake seeing as it is newer sw especially I wouldn't do it. I only know that would work though cuz I'm a dev major, and it is my job to know that. But, I don't support doing it nor do I suggest doing it because the guys who would give you a break...are all gone working for different companies, and I don't even know anyone at that studio anymore...so ya...I would just avoid doing it.

Something like ZDooM i can live with since i know how to use it, but at least it is possible, what about the betray level? (Yes i know thats a little off subject)

Probably the same, but you have to have the main wad in the zdoom folder with the other wad. Then just drag the one you want to play into zdoom's launcher because it won't be registered in the menu.

You can download the NRFTL-wad from here: http://visionsofdoom.us/wads/nerve.zip

And I recommend using Chocolate Doom for vanilla-like gameplay: http://www.chocolate-doom.org/wiki/index.php/Chocolate_Doom

I just don't see the problem: Steam -> SteamApps -> common -> Doom 3 BFG Edtion -> base -> wads There you will find 3 wads. Doom.wad Doom2.wad and NERVE.wad. Just start the NERVE.wad with and Source Port of your choise. For me: gZDoom 1.8.2.0 was doing it fine.

well the second episode is in there. it was released by nerve software. the only way to play it is to run it through zandronum or any modern source port

NRFTL is a Doom 2 mission that is exclusive to the 360 and maybe the PS3 version...

Wait DooM is on Planetside 3? I didn't think that was out yet and i didn't think it would have minigames, are you sure you're not talking about Playstation 3?
Also it's stupid that a PC game has exlusive content on the console ports, Which is one of the reasons few people like the new Terraria dev.
