Doom 3 RoE glass blocking Artifact Control

I haven't found anybody else with this specific problem...

The door marked 'Artifact Control' - I was able to walk through it just fine about an hour ago but I loaded a previous game. Now the door opens, but when it slides out of the way it's replaced by a strip of that bulletproof glass, so I can't get in. Has anyone else seen this? What exactly am I looking at here?

Oh nvm...I don't know if I'd call it a 'solution' exactly but I loaded an older game. If I wait for that vulgar to spawn and come get me, the door is blocked. If I rush out and kill it just as it walks through the door, that strip of (?glass?) never appears.

Really weird. I've replayed like 6 times and everytime I wait for it to come get me the glass appears. No idea why/how.

thats werid. i have been noticing this game making me start back near the beginning of the levels now rather than were i left off at. it has never done that to me before; and then i will be walking through the level seeing all the dead demons i killed

Now that's weird. What level did it start on? Was it RoE or just D3?
