Doom 3 bfg edition wont run

l bought it at EB a few days ago and installed it all correctly and it all went fine when l tried to open the game at first it came up with that opengl thing so l googled how to stop that that did the "+set up 0" thing and then the opengl was gone but now it keeps coming up with doom 3 bfg has stopped working, its a BEX problem but l cant stop the issue, any help would be good thank you

try doing the check file integrity or run as administrator. doesn't hurt trying sometimes restarting your computer or updating it.

tried restarting, updating and running as administrator, but not the file intergrity how do l go by doing that?

Right click from games list.then left click>properties>local files>verify integrity........

oh ok then yeah ive done that too, the only other possible reason that l can think of is my laptop doesnt meat the requirements even though l believe it does oh well than you for trying to help and taking the time to help me

I have the same kinda problem it just goes white and says doom Bfg edition has stopped working close or check for solution online wtrf??

Same here. Bought a game that doesn't launch. Feeling prett miffed about the whole thing. amd cpu, nvidia gtx 760, 16gb RAM.. I'm pretty sure I meet the minimum requirements. This needs immediate attention both from y'all, and ID Software. With Doom 4 on the horizo - they care. Trust me.

I have the same problem. The first time I installed the game it work with the "+ set 0" stuff, so i know that my computer meat the requirements but then I erased the game. Now I installed it again but that doesn't work. Any ideas? I checked the file integrity and it's fine

Do you have a supported graphics card? the open GL error might signify your GPU is too old or doesnt support the right direct X/open GL
