Game no longer starts (Windows 10)

I bought this game a while ago and only just started playing it. It worked fine for me yesterday, but today when I try to play, it will not fully launch. I get the popup that it needs to run as admin, then it goes to the steam window "launching game" .. then asks to run as admin again, then goes to install the Microsoft Visual C++, then goes to the launch window. then asks to run as admin.. and so on and so forth. It is a constant loop.

I have tried running from a desktop shortcut, and also directly from the .exe file in the local folders. I have verified the integrity of my game files, and also completely deleted then re-downloaded the game.

Nothing works and I don't know why. Searching on Google yields no results.

same problem here, except mine just literally doesnt do anything. i even tried directly going to the EXE, and running as admin, still nothing

I finally got it working. Not sure what (if anything) I actually did. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game about 3 times, and did 2 file validation checks on the last install. It has been working for the past week without issue.

I wish I could give you a concrete fix, but I'm clueless..
