Okay, two things:

1. I actually like the complexity of this game and play quite a bit single player. I don't want to play online due to how long these games are but I spend quite a bit of time in a solo mode type of game.
2. Please, you go to school for twelve years and learning to write is an extremely important skill to know and when it comes to your jobs later in life this will be a make-or-break skill that you really need to get down. By writing like a five year old starting school, it not only badly hurts your skill in being professional when you have to but it also both annoys and saddens the rest of us who do it correctly. Missing an error from time to time is fine, but to write like that just screams to not take you seriously.

But back to what you were saying, from what I could understand and spending even more time than I should have to even understand your writing, I agree with you and the game is fun even knowing it is complexed an beyond the scope of the average Halo player. But then again, I like games this way and would rather spend my time in a simulation type of game over an arcade type that just flat out gives you eye candy over strategy.

Please, every so many years it becomes the popular thing to write completely different and honestly messed up like what you are doing but ten years later. The sad thing is that the fad will leave but you will continue to write like that and it will hurt you financially and maybe even socially around different crowds than what you are used to.

I'm trying to help, not badmouth you. Sure there are some errors in my writings as well but at least I am trying to do better in my writing. You on the other hand are just standing still and will only hurt yourself when you need to do it correctly in the future.

This is what I keep telling my friends who jump on the Civilization V bandwagon. Civ 5 is nothing compared to ES. I tried playing it for a few hours, and I couldn't stand its simplicity. What a waste of money to buy Civ 5.

Lol, is the world changed and there's only English speaking people all around the world? :-)

...second it. But thank you on telling me this as I was thinking of getting that game as well. Thanks for letting me know about Civilization and now I will stay away from it as well.

It's probably more because I'm not that young that for me learning write well English isn't that important. I did well without so. But for younger it's perhaps different.

But the point is such unreadable post doesn't need a life teaching, instead a more modest comment would have been more polite, knowing that some old people could play games too. Don't forget this game is translated and Steam has only one forum for all languages.

Yes though, the game is very enjoyable to at least me but unless told other, I will avoid online. I just truly believe that the games will last way too long to see an actual ending but if I'm wrong, I am game for an online one.

Personally, I would like to team up with at least one other and wipe the remaining six or so CPU off the map. I don't even need to flat out take out the partner at the end, just to team up on the computer would be fun enough for me.

No, I understand that and I am trying to show respect to those who are trying to learn English more than the joy that I would get by slamming on someone who doesn't get it. Honestly, can you tell me that a person who just has a grasp of English reading above would understand it or worst yet, learn his ways over the correct way.

However, I will just be happy with this fad is over but then start arguing when the next one starts...as he probably will do as well.

It's mainly just hype; ES is a smaller-end 'indie' game, so people don't know about it as well as they know Civilization V. That, and space isn't exactly a huge niche, so it loses additional points in popularity.

On a side note; Civ 5 doesn't run properly or at all on 30% of all buyers' computers. True story. Try Googling; you'll see so many complaints and threads about how people can't run the game. My friend included.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

And I suggest that you all drop the topic of languages; it's irrelevant to the actual topic and any more talk about it will just spiral the thread into some form of heated debate. Not necessary.

Second all that as well. I really enjoyed the idea of space games and space combat and this was a badly needed fill-in where it was needed. I hope that if they do a sequel, it will be publisher based and not so indie so they can fix the mild errors and smooth things out but I hope that it stays like this and not pull what other games did when they make the switch.

I already wrote on Civilization 5 beforehand so to do so again would be like me continuing the debate on the writing style...redundant and a waste of time and space.

You really must be young. I shouldn't have been so hard but I was trying to help and honestly, the rest of the world is learning English, sure but they are also learning the Chinese language and even Japanize when we are going backwards learning Spanish for those in our country too lazy to learn our own language. To go further, can anyone point out any country doing well or within the top ten of the world's nations that use Spanish as a primary language? To go further on this, not even Spain is doing that well economically.

I am not showing racial stereotypes here, but more to as the question on when you shop or do anything via phone or online, what other language do you see/hear? Who else is tired of pressing 1 for English when the other language is Spanish while we have other immigrants in this country as well.

Like I said, I am not being racial but I was in Vietnam for a while and can prove it and it is funny to see even them learning English when they flat out won't stress it as a primary language in our home country.

Are you serious? You're tired of lifting a finger to press 1 on your phone? The rest of the world learns English because they want to and because it will help them, it's not like it's mandatory. Going backwards to learn Spanish? You can't go backwards in learning a new language, that is just straight up prejudice. Again, people don't have to learn English in the USA, it's their right. And if you want to bring economy into this mess of a post: if everyone knew English, it would hurt the economy with loss of translating jobs and businesses based on translation, etc. Please don't make stupid posts.
Also, ES is an extremely good game.

Keep the discussion on topic, please. :)

I actually find this game to be too simple. It hasn't the 1/10th of depth that Space Empires Series (5 being the latest) has. Unfortunately no good space 4X game came out if 5 years and this is the one who takes the throne without real competiton.

Bud...what the hell is "Japanize"? For someone who criticizes others for their ineptitude in writing English, you sure are making some elementary mistakes. Take a look at yourself first before you start criticizing others, you won't look like such a horses ♥♥♥ then.
