Cannot move units (Mac OS and Windows) - When will this be fixed?

Ok the premise of Endless Space looks very promising and the game mechanics looks like they could get me hooked for several years (coming from Galactic Civilizations II game) however my first experiences with the game result into Endless Frustration...

I first thought I wouldn't understand the way units move however after investing quite some time researching the issue, I am convinced that we are dealing with a serious bug here due to probably the game being confused by the Steam overlay...

I tried many of the workarounds offered here and elsewhere to no satisfactory result.

I now know that the game at times will not allow you to manually move your units/ships to the desired location. It happens randomly and sometimes restarting the game might help or you have to start a new game entirely.

I am not up spend some relaxing hours with frustrating hours due to a severe game bug.

Therefore my question: When will this be fixed? If it will not be fixed, I see no other choice than uninstalling this game and ask a refund... What a shame as ES seems to hold a lot of potential.

If ou cant move, hit your shift key.. This is usually what it is.. If you still can't move, it's probably because there is an enemy fleet there with pursue enemy fleets leaving system activated.
