Heros,
Why do I only get about 3 heros to choose from, and only one more by the 50th turn. Endless Legends gives me at least ten that rotate often.

Because this isn't Endless Legends. Different game, different mechanics. On the hero screen there's a turn timer of when a new hero will appear.

Right so after the 10 -15 turn cooldown nothing happens. Once I got a new hero but on turn 70 I have only had the starting 3 heros and 1 additional.

It says 50 turns for next hero for me. It doesn't start counting down unless you've hired one from the pool, as the cap is 3.

I see, thanks. I suppose I thought it would be similar to the other game having a larger pool of ready heros. I got this on the winter 2013 sale never really played it until I got into the series. I am enjoying it! Wish I started sooner.

There are technologies you can unlock which will lower the time for a new hero recruit to appear as well as adding slots to your academy.

Also game speed affects the turn-count with which heroes will appear
