Noob Question
So I managed to colonize 4 systems ( all I have revealed). So far I have two problems
1) I took me over 30 turns, is this normal?
2) I can't get my scouts to travel to any other systems. They just refuse to move. Is it because they are too far away or is there any technology that will allow further discoveries? (auto-expeditions do not work too, my fleets are only moving between my own planets)
Please help me
Thank you in advance

1) Maybe. . Yes it take some time to colonize but there could be many factors: galaxy size and shape, speed of the game, the race played, difficulty... to explain this. I'll check this later but I think it's a bit low. When you quit the game, you can see how your opponents are doing. Do they have more systems than you ?

2) Maybe your ships have explored all the stars in this constellation of the galaxy. To explore further, they probably need to pass throught a wormhole and for that you need the technology: applied casimir effect (if my memory is good)
1) Yeah, I think I choose the wrong race, forgot the name, but it was an agressive one. And the galaxy was too big...
2) The thing is- I can see the star systems, but when I command my fleets to get there they do nothing. And yes, I remember that tech , but it's pretty advanced. It will take a lot of time to discover it unless you have choosen the Science race.

By turn 30, the tech should be within reach. A planet you can't reach? That is strange, do you have a picture?

I would not recommand the Cravers, as it's meant to be played aggressive. i fyou can't attack early, they will fall behind the others pretty quickly.

And how are the others doing : better/same/worse?

If the cosmic string is a straight line it's a normal string. If the cosmic string looks fuzzy or smoky, it's a wormhole, it will require the science.

For Example, I had a Scout on Cheng, but when clicking on the star above Cheng it didnt move. Same as my warships in the bottom. Are those strings wormholes?

Yes I think it requires the tech mentionned above
Thank you both for the fast response. I will try again with a less-agressive nation focusing more on the exploration techs. Happy gaming :)
