Cease fire bug?
In my previous game I was offered a cease fire by the AI and I accepted, I think I had to wait about 20-30 turns for it to end. In my current match however, I offered a cease fire instead and the waiting period is listed as 0. It's been 2 turns like that. Don't tell me this is a bug and now I'm stuck into a permanent cease fire with the AI.

try reloading the match
Ruldra Jul 17, 2016 @ 9:17am
Loading a previous save? Already done that. Whenever I offer a cease fire, the waiting period is always 0.

never had that before, really. I hope this is localized to that single match and doesnt carry over in future ones (steam file verification done already?)

maybe it is a situation thing. Like your empire too strong or weak or something? But idk, that's just my thinking.

Just did a file verification but nothing came of it. I googled a bit and people are reporting this bug since 2013, but Amplitude never worked on it. Weird.

I suppose I'll have to load an older save and keep going with the war. Next time they offer a cease fire I'll check if the waiting period is still zero.

I should ve asked immediatly but is it a display bug "only"? meaning does the zero prevent you from using any other diplomatic actions?
Ruldra Jul 17, 2016 @ 2:00pm
Nope, I can do diplomatic stuff with everyone else just fine. With the Horatio I don't think you can do any action during a cease fire though.

And just my luck, my autosave got overwritten while testing this and now I'm stuck with this indefinite cease fire :steamfacepalm:

It's right there under the faction names. I got so caught up with the waiting period zero that I forgot to check the diplomatic screen, the cease fire duration was there all along :spaceduck:

Might as well ask here to avoid making another thread: if I have a ship with multiple missile modules and tell it to spread fire, will it shoot all missiles toward a single enemy or will every missile have a different target?
MTB-Fritz Jul 18, 2016 @ 7:37am
Spread fire affects ship targeting only not the modules meaning each ship in your fleet will go for a target of its own and hammer it with everything it has until its destroyed then it ll pick a new target of its own.

Multiple modules on the ship are still slaved to the ships targeting so depending on your weapons you can easily overkill a target.

Turn 112, that's a pretty normal amount to have at this point I think. In my previous match I finished with like 100k dust lol.
