We aren't hearing about Loadout breaking Windows from any other users. This is probably something specific to you, but I am happy to do my best to try to help.

What exactly does you computer say? Is there an error message?

Do you mean that your whole computer stopped working, or that your whole computer locks up when you run Loadout?

First thing to try is updating your graphics driver to the latest version.

its been upragaded, windows says that loadout stopped working then it just exits out of the game/black start up screen.

Do you have the latest graphics drivers? If you are running Windows XP, do you have service pack 3? If yes to these, please send a DXDiag report to support@loadout.com, so we can take a closer look and see what the problem is.

yes i have a directx10 its running vista home premium, wtf is a dxdiag?

DXDiag is a diagnostic utility that comes with your Direct X install. You already have it. Just click on the Start button and type DXDiag, select Save All Information, and e-mail us the TXT file to support@loadout.com. This provides detailed data on your system config. Similar stuff is included in the F7 reports, but DXDiag is helpful when F7 doesn't work.

Do you have a laptop or a desktop? If it's a laptop, make sure you have discrete (high performance) graphics set for Loadout in your graphics driver control panel.

Some other ideas...

If you have overridden any graphics settings from your driver, set it to use software defaults for Loadout.

From Steam Library, try Loadout - Properties - Local Files - Verify Integrity.
