"Direct3D9 Device" error
I used to play Loadout a lot, but then stopped playing it during June. When I tried starting it back up now, it instantly Crashes To Desktop and displays an error box: "Failed to create Direct3D9 device."

Anyone else getting this issue? I've tried using Steam to re-check the file integrity, nothing missing there. Still get the issue.

Try reinstalling it? verifying it will only check the games data .. perhaps reinsalling will also reinstall the right directx components that are apparentlly changed for some reason.

What kind of graphics card do you have? Have you tried installing the latest graphics driver?

Same here. I think it might be the game trying to display at an incorrect resolution, but I could be completely wrong. I'll keep looking into the problem and post something if I find a fix.

Unfortunately, that is below our min spec, and isn't supported.

Oh, well that's unfortunate. It's not a huge deal because I'll be getting back to a better computer in a week. Thanks for the help!

It depends on the model, but I think probably.
