Was fun for a while, but the PC version has been all but abandoned by the developers. Situations like the one this game has found itself in are the reason people despise consoles, though their anger is usually misdirected onto the people who play console games instead of the developers like Edge of Reality who abandon their core players (the PC gamers who made them successful to begin with) for the relatively easy profit of console development.
PS4 version is leaps and bounds ahead of the PC one at this point. No updates, no communication, nothing that I've encountered, at any rate. Admittedly I've not been following the game too closely, merely casually observing, so perhaps things aren't quite as bleak as they seem. I have a feeling they are though.
If you absolutely must check this game out, play the PS4 version. Even then, I'd not give Edge of Reality any of my hard-earned money. I don't support companies who screw over one player base for another. They'd do well to look at companies like Digital Extremes (Warframe) and CDProjekt (Witcher 1-3) to learn how to support a game on multiple platforms.
Not recommended, even for free.
