VirtualMachine
Hi, I am trying to run Football Manager 2013 under a VirtualBox VM of Windows XP on my BSD system. FM won't start, saying that it can't run in a VM. Is there any way around this? I paid good money for this game and would like to play it on my desktop. Thanks

No, I'm afraid the game is not supported to run with VM. Sorry.

That sucks, because 2012 worked fine. I think I'm probably not the only one that runs it this way, so I think maybe there should be a note about it in the requirements section (and if there already is one, make it a little more noticable, because I missed it).

Can you please tell us why? FM 2012 works perfectly. I use linux as OS but got a virtual machine with my legal Windows key and I bought FM 2013. It installs perfectly but when I try to play it says that it detected that it's running on a Virtual Machine and that's not supported. There is no where in the requirements nor the broc♥♥♥♥ that comes with the game any line saying that it won't run in virtual machines.
