Symphony, oh boy I had a great time with this game. Combining what we hear when we play games to make it the essence of the game.
First of all, I gotta love the shoot-em ups, although most of these on steam that are popular tend to cause blindness, this game balances it & even has options for it.
Story: 8/10 - The story actually seemed original, but otherwise, it seemed to be same old same old, also where did we even get that spaceship from..?
Gameplay: 9/10 - The gameplay couldn't be any better, there is barely any lag with the game & even can handle the large amounts of enemies in the screen at once (at harder difficultys). The enemies spawn with the rythme of the music which helps feeling emerged into the game. Also the bosses are quite clever, though the only thing I dislike about them is that they only appear every 3-5 playthroughs (at the highest difficulty unlocked). Otherwise, everything is just awesome.
Replayablility: 9/10 - Nearly perfect. The game is just so good that its different for every playthough. Its all determined by the music you used. As for the replay, there are scoreboards, unlockables galore, and the never-ending struggle to make your ship the most powerful there is.
Creativity: 10/10 - Sure, some games did the same thing, but did they use multible ways (I mean like 5-8) of converting music into the game? Well, enough questions. This is the first game I have ever seen to manage to do this like other games, and do it very well.
Overall: 36/40 - The game isn't perfect, but its close enough to be called a masterpiece (or better yet, possibly one of the best shoot-em ups out there). Also to back this up, this game (has in fact), was reviewed by "The Completionist", and the ratings of the game are very high. So if you got some cash on you & wish to listen to music while playing a shoot-em up? Want to fight demons invading your music? Do you want to defeat a various amount of bosses? This is the perfect game for you.
