Have they added Unicode support yet?

Hello Fridge Panic!
Unicode is supported. However, our bitmap-based font renderer only supports most of the Latin alphabet. Asian and Cyrillic characters will not show correctly at this time. We are working on a brand-new font renderer, but it's not due to be ready for an update release for a couple of months at least. We apologize for underestimating the amount of non-Latin characters that our players would use!

Are there any updates on unicode support? It's been over 3 months...3 and a half.

Thanks for following up! Unfortunately, we spent our efforts on a 100% new scanning engine and unlimited song length memory management (see beta notes). The font rendering engine is next, but it might be a while yet. We are really sorry about this but it came down to prioritizing stability over non-Latin characters.
