I may wait until it's 75% off, having no Last.FM scrobble support kinda has taken me away from wanting it, don't get me wrong I still want to play it, just not as bad now, lol.

The world has to know what you're listening to at all times. lul

I hope you bought this game anyways. It's really awesome.

I feel like the game is really unpolished and the gameplay is a bit dull, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has played beat hazard before.
Whimper 13 ENE 2013 a las 5:52
I agree that the game is unpolished and dull. My gripes:

- Bland user interface is also non-intuitive. Buttons don't appear where you expect them, and don't work as you expect them.
- Song database is primitive. First, it has to scan your library for about two hours. It also has to scan each song for twenty seconds the first time you play it. With all that scanning, you'd think the game would have a robust way of sorting and presenting the library information to you, but all you get is a loooooong list of songs sorted by song artist or title. No playing by folder, by genre, by playlist. No arranging playlists. No playing multiple songs back to back.
- The music doesn't really seem to affect the gameplay as much as it does in a game like Audiosurf.
- The game becomes an item-hunt, leading to an inventory of dozens of junk items that is hard to browse through.
- Controls are wonky. Seems to be an issue with mouse-smoothing or something, but every now and then my ship jumps half-way across the screen and into certain death.
- Boss fights are intrusive and boring and prevent leaderboard rankings.
- Leaderboards are mostly empty for most songs. Not a lot of people play this.
- There's no social aspect to the game, to see what songs are "hot" or popular, or to help give the game any direction. Just farm your library, song by song, nobody caaaaares.

The game looks alright, and the music is my music so that's okay. I'm not saying don't buy it, especially if you find it for the price of a bag of chips. But I uninstalled it after about four hours and went back to playing Beat Hazard and Audiosurf.

Some of those gripes are quite easily fixed. though i do agree with the leaderboard and boss fight issues.

The game allows you to sort items collected and so on.

Not experienced the mouse issue though many computers frequently seem to "grab" the mouse leading to erratic movements, mybe somewhat on your end of things though you aren't the only one to say.

The buttons being ill placed on menus is more a learning curve than a permanent gripe, once you know how it is laid out it quickly becomes easier.

It just annoys me that you have to exit the game for getting to the main menu screen (at least I haven't figured out how to do that without hitting ESC and clicking Yes).

Mothereffing this. I don't know the artists of half the songs I want to play and I have so many different songs that the Sort by Album option doesn't help either. Therefore, both options are useless, I need more time for finding a song than for actually playing it.

Double-mothereffing this, even the calmest songs make me rage, because there are more (and fast) enemies on the screen than you would expect. I mean seriously, I died 9 times and got overrun by a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of enemies with this simple song:

Yeah, instead of at least limiting them to 4 max per item, you can find 20 useless items and maybe 1 or 2 good ones. What's the point of having 12 Shotguns, 7 Crescendos and only 1 Mega Blaster? Not to forget that I accidentally upgraded 2 useless weapons, because the game doesn't ask if I'm sure about it although I just clicked by mistake.

While I don't experience that kind of control issue, it always surprises me that I move around something perfectly but still ram that something for no particular reason.

And they are bugged as hell.

It should be obvious why. The menu theme is calm, the game looks like a calm version of Space Invaders, but instead it's an enraging, unfair and bugged game that makes you hate your favorite music you just wanted to play for some minutes. Noone wants to go through all the stress just to show some people that he played a song he began to hate after beating it.

I kind of agree. If it has leaderboards, then it should at least have a scoreboard of your friends, too, because that always leads to looking up certain songs they played and maybe even liking and playing them, too.[/quote]

I agree that there's bugs that need fixed, but so far I've played the game for nearly 5 hours and I payed $3.39, about the price I pay for a bag of Doritos.

I don't think I'll play this like Beat Hazard, but I do think I've enjoyed the game and got my moneys worth out of it. I've purchased several games that I didn't get my moneys worth.

I think this is where i get my enjoyment.

Is far cry 3 or this a better game? No contest! Which do i feel comparatively gave me more based on cost alone, sadly, this.

Well that is what I consider to be a strong point of Indie games. Many Indie games may have flaws and not be AAA games, but when you pay under $5, and sometimes under $2 in indie bundles for these games, look at the amount of fun you get from these games for a few $$$.

Even if you get a $50 AAA game at 75% off, the amount of fun per $ is better on the Indie game than the AAA game. That doesn't mean you shouldn't buy AAA games, but that there are many Indie games worth buying in sales or bundles because you will enjoy them for at least a few hours for the little money you invest in them.

While I wouldn't pay $9.99 for Symphony, it was worth $3.39 easily.

This is a fun game ruined by the plot. So far, I'vee battled deamons every two or three tracks. I don't even have a chance to get a grip on what I'm doing before the game goes throwing crap like this at you.

There's entirely too much going on. The excessive visuals distract you from what's an enemy and just a visual. You die mysteriously because enemies are blocked by the random flashes of light...and let's not forget enemies that when you kill them, emit a shockwave that takes you out.

I can't play this game for more than two tracks before I get so angry at it's gameplay that I shut it down. Great idea. Horrible plot and implmentation.

I'll stick to audiosurf.
