It's funny, I never thought of solving 6.01 using the trick to keep the infection alive till you can create a second source. It's always fun to see a creative unintended solution to a level :)

Character
hmmm, well as you saw I turned the stuff tom said backwards, cut it short and just did it "you tube poop" style to add more personality and character to tom, a mild verbal tweak to the "bugs" for character would also be a nice touch. (just make it so you can sorta understand little bits of speach, leave more of the comment to the user to muse at.

Multiplayer co op maps
More advanced maps that need 2 to 4 people to finish would open up multi player options.

Larger/Multi part maps
even larger maps or multi part maps that you have to finish one area to get into the one right next to it. (meaning if you screw up you have to get BACK to the first part and correct what ever you messed up.

Ghost tom
A "ghost" tom that copies your every movement (as in you drop it, and then 2 seconds later it activates, letting you move away before it starts...or drop an then press the drop button again to manually activate it) would open up new options.

Make sure the ghost can also effect the world the same as tom (effectively doubling the things you can adjust at once)
and is destroyed in all the same ways as tom and will draw enemy attention...

making a ghost should take a little energy so you can't abuse it, but killing it doesn't hurt energy.

Anti-Antivirus
How about we make it so that toms creator makes a ANTI-anti virus to the red antivirus tom normally has to deal with. This will make maps have more options as well (For example I would make it so to finish a map you have to trip the anti virus, lead it into his creators anti-anti virus to kill it and then be able to complete the map.
(naturally if it wipes out all of the area toms virus is in before the anti-anti virus kicks in you still lose)

I would say make it a purple box or something(I'll leave color to you lol) and can only be used on 1 antivirus at a time.
this way you can dead end one antivirus and work around the others to finish the map.

Super Bugs
BIG BUGS! tom takes up 1 square, as do all current "bugs" make a bug that takes up 4 : D "super bugs!" ....oh make it take 1 glitch to slow them, a second glitch to stop them and 2 impacts to kill it.

Bug born glitch
Tom can drop a glitch to freeze bugs...why can't bugs drop a glitch to make tom freeze if he hits it?

Auto turning squares
Normally tom has to do all the work of adjusting the map, why not some squares that turn themselves every oh...10 seconds? this also lets you effectively be in 2 places at once if you time it right.

oh ya, the vita version, hmm well I havent played it on that, I am very mouse and keyboard...I wouldnt recomend "tilt" controls....maybe a touch screen d-pad and glitch button so you can thumb it like a gameboy?

Super Bugs and Auto turning squares were actually brought up by the team when we were making AVNT, and we put Super Bugs in originally. I admit it was really fun seeing the Giant bug in there, really freaked you out :) Eventually we started culling things out to boil the game down to a simpler progression of core mechanics.

These are some cool out of the box thoughts. Thanks so much! Sorry it took so long to respond!
