need a bit of help for the 3 achievements im mising
Been playing TOM for a couple of weeks and I wanted to complete every single achievement before I left it behind.

I've done the single player ones and the versus mode ones all by myself and I'm currently working on the co-op mode also by myself (just have the keyboard player stand still and solve the whole thing with gold score. For levels with barriers, solve each half separatedly, one on controller, one on keyboard). I've skipped 3 levels so far, ones that are to hard for a single player to do, due to having to rotate 2 pieces simultaneously very fast to get the gold (other ones that require this were easy cause I still had more time left before I lost the gold). I've been talking with a couple of friends to see if I can have one of them over one of these days to help me.

Meanwhile I just finished 6.01 with gold and I'm here to ask if anyone has a screenshot of levels 6.02 - 6.09 solved for co-op mode, cause these levels seem complicated and now since my classes started again I can't really afford to spend over 1 hour on each level trying to solve it. And i really wanted to 47/47 it.

Achievements im missing are the city of tomorrow (co-op), pandemic (co-op) and gold boat (co-op)

Some of these levels you absolutely need two people to play in order to beat. These are: 6.02, & 6.03.

You can beat 6.06 and 6.08 with one player. Those puzzles are straightforward. I would tackle those right away. You can probably do 6.07 and 6.09 with one player as well.

6.04 & 6.05 are tough puzzles. My wife and I beat both, but I don't know "The Solution" for 6.04.. 6.05 I can prob post a screenie if you like. I just hate spoiling it, because it is fun to tackle with a friend :D

Thanks for the reply man, I'll try to beat the ones that you said were soloable and I guess I'll just hold out for a while till i can get someone to help me do the rest. :)

BTW, if you use your skips on the levels you can't beat, you will get 2 of the 3 achievements. You will just need someone to help you gold the skipped levels.

I'm trying to do the same thing, I currently have gold in MP up to 6.05.

6.02 MP is entirely doable single player, I even beat the baked in scores after I'd solved it, you just need to be fast, and the last move is a little tricky.

6.03 MP is almost impossible on your own unless you use an input mapper of some sort to bind player 1 controls to player 2 controls with the axis inverted. It's really easy then. Arguably cheating, but I think it's the only level that works on. ;)

I'm currently stuck on 6.06, I can not get hit (for a while), and sometimes light up a section, but all 4 is proving really difficult.

edit: lol, must be tired, why was I trying to light all 4 separately?

Well I managed the last few levels, so I can confirm that they're all possible solo with the input mapping trick for 6.03 :)

When I unninstalled TOM for good I was only missing i think 3 achievs. Get all gold in MP, clear all levels in MP and clear city of tomorrow MP. There were 2 or 3 levels that i couldnt do, and I didnt rly think of using an imput trick. I think the easiest way would be to get someone to help you with a second controller or on the keyboard..... :P

I had gold in everything except those 2-3 levels i couldnt do alone.

Anyways, good luck!

Also, i didnt think of using the skips to get the achievs....Thanks to Niban, might try it later, after i reinstall.

@pseudonym404 Cool. What input mapping trick did you do?
@Vit You're welcome.

I used joy2key to send keypresses for player 2 controls, but with the axis inverted, and used the joystick itself for player 1, so I could control both players simultaneously.

At the start of the level, I used the keyboard to move player 2 to the opposite corner, then used the joystick to control both players and drop glitches at the same time in the right places.

It later occurred to me I could have used 3 or 4 players to get a keyboard player in the opposite corner at the start, but I didn't think of that at the time.

I'm on Linux, so I have no idea if the Windows joy2key will work, as it's a different program with the same name, but it should do as long as it doesn't exclusively grab the joystick.

That is really nifty! It's like a puzzle within a puzzle. Puzzleception :P
