[SOLVED] apparent game mess up

i've completed the first level and it just won't move on to the next part of the game, it's not stalling or messing up INSIDE the game itself....the next level just won't open up. if someone could offer help on this i would greatly appreciate it

Edit: By first level, do you mean you completed the Pet of Tomorrow? When you are on that Billboard you need to press "Right/Right Arrow" so that you go to the next billboard. They have arrows that indicate that. The game prevents you from doing anything else to teach you how to navigate through the billboards.

Otherwise:
Go to the billboard screen and kill the game with Alt+F4 or the Task Manager. Then relaunch the game and try again. When you relaunch, the game will check the integrity of the data and do any necessary clean up. If that doesn't work, email the developers directly at [e-mail] and they will help figure out what is going on.
