[SOLVED] Odd bugs

(1) The first introductory videos don't play - I click to play them and nothing happens. From Pet of tomorrow it seems to work. I presume the intro videos explain what to do - took me a while to figure out how things worked without any clues! Verified the game cache and all seems to verify ok.

(2) I can't play any of the videos from the extras Videos menu - I see a graphic and nothing happens when I hit A (on a controller) or ENTER on a keyboard. Am I missing something.

(3) Reproducible glitch - first time I played the program hung (though not the music!) when I tried to start the first level. Force closed the app and tried again and the virus appeared and I could play. Same happened as I started the second level (Pet of Tomorrow). Resetting the game to factory defaults caused the glitch to repeat exactly the same. Tried in FS and Window modes and with keyboard and controller - doesn't seem to make any difference.

Any ideas how to fix these?

If you emails us, check to see if you have an error log (\Documents\aVirusNamedTom\) and include that as well.

In regards to #2.. you can only play the videos from the Extras menu that you unlocked. But I imagine your issue is different from that.

Removing Codec Megapack seems to have fixed the video issue - shame though as some of those codecs were useful.

Isn't there any way to make these videos less specific codec dependent?

I personally use K-Lite codecs which you can get here: http://ninite.com/ And I don't have any issues. You probably needed the .wmv files to be associated with WMP.
