Wow what a gem this game is. You play as Lee a man with a questionable past thrown in at the deep end at the start of a zombie apocalypse, at the start of the game you meet Clementine, a little girl alone. Throughout the game Lee and Clem meet all sorts of characters and together try and survive in a world gone mad.
The Storyline is dark in places and full of twists and turns but i felt myself constantly wanting more, it was like a book i couldnt put down chapter after chapter.
There are lots of great things i can say about this game, the character development is some of the best i've seen in any game. The dialogue is perfect, it really gives each character a personality and you get the feeling these people really exist.
With every conversation i found myself not just trying to say the right thing but voicing my own opinion as if i was the main character i was playing (Lee). From dilemma's to arguements to simple discussions and decisions this is a game that will make you wonder a second later if you did or said the right thing. The fact that almost everything you say or do has a lasting effect and moulds the game to your decisions amazes me.
The quicktime events are quite simple at times but then it really catches you off guard at other times where you near enough need lightning reflex's.
I've never been a fan of cell shaded games but this is just something else, graphically it looks fantastic.
By the end of chapter five i didnt want it to end, i felt a real deep connection to each of the characters, even more so with Lee and Clementine.
Telltale did a fantastic job with this game and really can't wait for future installments of this series.
