Episode 4 Not Loading
Everytime i try to play episode 4, the screen goes black, and all i can see is a cursor. I also can hear the background noise for the train moving, forever on loop. Why is it not loading?

Same here...been that way for a couple weeks now and can't get past it. It's VERY annoying.

as well, i can't find a single solution online, they are all focused on the save bug from a while back.

so i contacted Telltale, and i hope to get a resonse. according to http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40650 it seems to be about the prefs.prop file. i will see what to do with it when they respond.

I had a somewhat similar problem. My decisions from episode 4 did not carry over to episode 5 so I decided to rewind to the last chapter in episode 4. Unfortunately, it didn't load. I had the same black screen with only the cursor visible. So, I decided to rewind back even further. Same problem no matter which episode I try to rewind to. Out of frustration, I decided to delete my saved game and start over from episode 1. Unfortunately, after completing episode 1, I am not able to continue to episode 2. Curiously, there was a pop-up message informing me that if I rewind, progress after this stage will be lost even though I did not rewind coz I am starting all over again. I hope TellTale fixes this soon because I am not able to replay any other episodes except episode 1.

Just wanted to drop a note that removing prefs.prop as suggested in the thread posted by Walkie-Talkie Guns worked for me :) Somehow, even my past saved game progress "re-appeared" even though I had already deleted the saved game.

Does it delete anything though? because according to that forum, it may delete saves. i haven't tried it yet, honestly, just posted it as a possibility.

Afraid I can't say for sure coz I already deleted my saves earlier and restarted from episode 1. My past progress up to episode 5 did somehow reappear after removing prefs.prop. Anyway, I can now continue with episode 2. Hopefully, the problem will not re-occur. Thanks for the tip :)

Well, soon after you said removing it worked for you, and it worked for me, without any save loss, or changes in choices.
