How do I get Kenny to search Clem with me at the end of S1 Ep 4?

Hey guys. I'm sure people have asked this before but couldn't really find the thread. I think I've stood up for him on almost every important issue except didn't smash Lily father's head, and the guy accused me like I'm the worst person to him. What went wrong?

Is it important to have him looking for her? I think in any case he will be "annoyed", even if you try to support him all the way through the story. :D - which I didn't and still got all the achievements. :)

I think saving his son instead of Hershel's in episode 1 and shooting his son are both very important.
First time I got the whole crew to search for Clem, this time I dropped Ben and got all of the others to search for her and Kenny this time even said something like "You've always been there for me, of course I'll help you" or something along those lines... so it is indeed possible to become his friend and not just have him be annoyed at you the entire time... I still think he's a douchebag most of the time.

Kenny will or will not come with you depending on your actions in the game.
For example, if you're always there for Kenny when he needs you, he'll tell you "You were always there for me, man. What kinda' friend would I be if I didn't come with you?"
To do this, you need to do at least two of the following:

1. Choose to save duck instead of Shawn
2. Take Kenny's side during arguments with Lilly
3. Help Kenny keep Larry from turning
4. Talk him down instead of fighting him to get him to stop the train.
5. Shoot his son so he doesn't have to.
6. Stand up to Larry at the Drug-Store.

You can get him to come with you WITHOUT KILLING BEN, that's right. If you pull Ben up, he'll still tell you that you were always there for him if you do all the following.

Doing only a couple of these things will set it so that Kenny only comes with you if you choose the correct diologue option.

If you do none of these things, Kenny refuses to come with you, even threatening to leave Savannah without you.

I did two of them and Kenny refused to go but promised will wait for me to come back. I believe the info is accurate.

You can still diagree with Kenny and do the opposite of what he says, like saving Ben or Larry. Which is what I did. You just need to make sure that you even out all the choices you made with or against Kenny. As long as yu sided with him just as much as you didn't, he'll come with you to help Clem. And I mean anything, even when it comes to deciding if you should shoot that girl in Ep. 3 or not. With me it went something like this:

1. Tried saving Hershel's Son
2. Defended Duck in the Drugstore
3. I sided with Lilly just as much as I did with Kenny. They both had good and bad points.
4. Tried Saving Larry
5. Stole from the car
6. Shot the girl who got bit
7. Fought Kenny on the train. And won B-]
8. Shot Duck for Kenny
9.Killed the kid in the attic for Kenny
10. Saved Ben

As I said, you just need to make sure that you even out your choices since I obviously didn't have Kenny's back throughout the whole game. But he still came, like a true bro =). I think shooting Duck plays the biggest part in his decision too. Choose "Clemintine is family."

i don t recall telling clem was family, but i certainly did if that option was avalaible at some point, i liked that kid

so only with those four, you ll have him be a friend

i guess he s a real family guy and that you can disaprove him on anything else that doesn t concern family stuff(god knows he s an idiot sometimes, and i always felt free to tell him off)

I did like three of those things, and Kenny didn't come with me. He said something along the lines of "I've been thinking, if this was ME asking YOU for help, would you be there for me?"
I mean, i've taken Kenny's side during arguements with Lilly, helped him keep Larry from turning, talked him down and not beat him up, shot his son so he doesn't have to, and he still doesn't come with me! What have I done wrong? And by the way I pulled Ben up.
