Free on Android?!?!

Both Season 1 and 2 are on android for free! I'm not far into the game (still on the 1st episode) but it is completely free, no adverts and no micro-transactions as of yet. I don't see a reason yet why I would spend money on a game there willing to give away for free... Can someone please share a reason how the computer version is worth money, yet on android its free?

For Android and the iPad, only chapter 1 of Walking Dead, Walking Dead 2 and The Wolf Among Us is free. The rest of the chapters are in-game purchases.
