How bad is Season 3? (spoilers for season 1 discussed)
I've just finished Season 1, and it was pretty good! However, I'm disappointed by how linear and rigit the story was. 90% of your choices don't matter at all. Whether you played as a badass motherducker or a compassionate father figure, the major events in the game didn't change. No matter what you do, you have to abandon the motel, for example. Feeding Duck with a ration is pointless as you'll get a lift on the RV anyway. Stuff like that.

Anyway, I just read the reviews for Season 3 and they seem really bad. Is it worth investing my time and money in Seasons 2 and 3? How linear are both seasons?

I am a big fan of this series, and I can assure you, ANF is terrible. Everything which made Season 1, and even Season 2, despite it's flaws, immersive, interesting and emotionally gripping is completely ripped away.

This was an obvious cash grab full of cheesy cliches, and Clem get relegated to a background character, hence everything in S1 and 2 is rendered meaningless. Seriously, stop at S2.

Gotcha.

Funny thing is, I also stopped watching the TV series after season 2. (god it was awful).

I guess Season 2 is where anything that's "Walking Dead" jumps the shark.
