More Ys games coming to Steam or at least English PC?

I just bought Origins and am digging what I have played (played the demo for few hours before buying my own, and LOVING the start and everything involved...been looking to get into a game like this). Anybody know if there are plans to bring some of the Japan only games to the US at all, or any future Ys games in the works for the PC other then the three options on Steam? Thanks!

Xseed'll probably be bringing Ark of Napishtim (Ys 6) sometime in the nearish future and the chinese company responsible for the pc version of Ys 7 has announced they intend to do an english-language release of it.

There are plenty of other Falcom games out there though and Xseed'll probably move on to them once they've run out of Ys games to do.

That'd be cool. Got the rest on my wishlist soon. I am really enjoying it. Wanted a nice simple game that did not need a ton of thought, but was still a challenge. Old school feel to it, looks good for graphics they used, dialogue is not the worst I have seen, so very happy thus far.

Ys Seven was the most fun I have ever had in a video game. I wore my PSP copy out so badly I had to buy a new one xD

I'd totally buy a Steam release of Ark of Napishtim, though it's not as good as OiF and Origin in my opinion. And I didn't know there was even a PC release of Seven. Guess I won't have to grab it on my Vita, then.

XSEED are looking at more PC JRPGs. Either expect more Ys or with a little luck, Trails.

I heard the Ys after Oath is getting a release sometime this year (Celcetta something?) . I too want all of them, they are highly addictive.

That one seems kind of unlikely here, there's no pc-version to localize.

Ark will probably be next, it uses the same engine as Oath and Origin so it should be a fair cinch to get done. After that though Xseed'll be out of easy Ys games to do. There's no pc version of Celcetta and the original Ys 4, 4, and 5 were never on pc (and weren't even made by Falcom for that matter). So after Ark... probably Trails in the Sky? Maybe Xanadu?

they are making their own one of 4 last I heard.
The only reason that 4 and 5 was never before in english (without fan translation) was what they did with 3, hence the remake of it that is on steam after they thankfully recorved from it.

Sadly I've only played the snes version of Ys IV. (Based on the OVA anime rather than the main game canon) It was still great but I hear the PC-E one is even better. Fingers crossed the Vita version is awesome too. Even though the Oath remake is godly, I'd love to see a remake using the side scrolling engine of the original.
