Avast recognizing this as potential malware.
Just want to report that Avast is showing this current version as potential malware when installing. Devs might want to look into it, coming from steam I would assume it is a false positive.

It's a false report but it's also normal. The Steam DRM sometimes triggers this when applied to certain versions of certain games. It's kinda out of my control, and more related to heuristics than anything. It sometimes sees the way the Steam DRM is functioning in a particular game or part of a game and is like "this seems fishy..." -- Really not a shock for such things.

Thanks for answering this so quickly, really just wanted to make you aware of it. Figures that its the steam DRM, it can cause so many other issues in addition. Thanks again, the game seems fun, will get into it more soon. It came at the recommendation of a very well seasoned game player.

Avast generally doesn't have a problem with Steam but it does get false positives at times. Report it to them as a false positive and they'll fix it quickly.
