I think you mean the stun attack then. You have to jump then quickly attack as you're falling and it'll stun. It doesn't stun all the time though, it just depends on how strong the enemy is.
No, he's talking about the attack characters perform when you push the attack button immediately after you stop moving. I find it much easier to perform it if I tap the analog stick and attack immediately after the stick returns to center position. Still don't have it down 100% of the time, though.
i find enemies go down much quicker if you start with the lunge attack

simple. i thought it was double or even triple tap foward towards the enemy then hit attack. but nope. just tap d pad once, tap attack.
it does tremendous damage to. you can do a fully charged skill attack then while is still active the lunge attack. the game calls it a dash attack i think.
I can actually do it fairly regularly now but you will probably never will be able to do it if you button mash because there needs to be a pause.
