We've got The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, the First and Second Chapters, coming within the next two years.

But you should literally be hearing news about it (as in, a definitive release date) like, this week, if all goes well. So it won't be much longer now.

The only way we get more JRPGS!! is to support them when they release on PC. If the market grows then Marvelous and others would be more inclined to focus on the PC market.

That said what i REALLY want is persona games on Steam. That would be EPIC.

I remember the company that was making the Lunar series for Playstation. They did a few then just kind of stopped. It's true, we do need more, even on PSN if that is the only way.

I'm all for good JRPGs however some of the bad ones need to be forgotten, that being said I think things like Persona, SMT, Trails in the Sky and some earlier games such as Suikoden and the SNES-PS2 era Final Fantasies and Dragon Quests (Why the hell was DQ8 re released on Mobile instead of steam surely a 3d PS2 era 150 hour+ JRPG would be better on PC than IOS...) would be great.

EDIT: I also eagerly await trails in the sky part 2 as I loved the first one however it looks like we may never get part 3 or it will at least take a long time which is a bit disheartening.

I did say the SNES-PS2 era final fantasies were awesome lol. (FFVI is my second favourite game behind Xenoblade Chronicles (Kingdom Hearts 2 is third because although kinda cheesy it is just too much fun))

EDIT: I even though FFX and FFXII were pretty good games, (X-2 was meh in my eyes not good but not bad) by the bad RPGs I meant stuff like FFXIII and its sequels (I guess they looked nice but I didn't like them all that much) along with the bad JRPGs which are mostly already on PC and are basically either poorly made indie RPGMaker games or weird Japanes games which can't be took seriously along with some older games which most have not heard of and should be obscure.

The Wii. (it literally pushes the wii to its limits in terms of scale and graphics while having one of the best stories and a great innovative combat system) One thing to note however is getting it outside of PAL regions and Japan is expensive due to the fact it was originally never gonna be realeased in the US (luckily that doesn't affect me and I got it at release) but due to ar ecent surge in popularity more copies in the US are suddenly being produced and sold ( £40 new in UK used to be around 100$ used in US but now around 60$ new in US until it all gets sold out again)

Definitely worth playing in my opinion though you may want to watch one or two spoiler free youtube videos but I wouldn't watch more than two in case something gets spoiled. (even some spoiler free videos have spoilers...)

Actually I think one of the reasons that we now have many anime video titles available in the USA is because the anime fans grew up and initiated some of these companies that translate and publish/distribute for the American market.

So maybe we just need some of us to do the same for JRPGs.

I'm going to be straight and honest here, for me if I'm to look for another new JRPG it should have a mix of good mature story and solid gameplay, now JRPGs in general have good gameplay and in this case I'm really enjoying origins great informative combat system, but as I'm near the end of Yunica's story I'm really growing tired of these super typical JRPG's chars with no logical or common sense... Man I'm 25 and maybe I've just seen enough JRPGS/animes stories this far.
