Look at me I'm angry. Shouldn't have bought it then next time do some research. Sorry to sound like a ♥♥♥♥ but it's true trust me don't come on here whining unless you know how to talk with people.
I'm not saying anything bad about the game itself as a whole.
I say it's awfully bad intro in the game.
I want to play, not watch long videos in a long series as in the serials.
Even an infinite set of long dialogues, which also can not miss.
seriously, the only time that is really a problem is when you're replaying a game.
The gameplay in Ys is really good and nervous, but the story is good too, especially if you discover Ys Origin after playing Ys I & II.
Although, that could be annoying if you wanna replay the game.
I already beat the game many times on Steam and many other times before the steam version, I don't really care about the cutscenes. And you can hold a button to skip the dialogue more quickly.
The french voice in intro, it so ugly ! a shame
Yeah, and they changed the voice acting for this one. But in the original one (not the steam version), this was a japanese girl speaking in french with her accent too. (j'suis français aussi, j'espère que t'as compris :p)
I agree; the intro sequence is a bit long. None of the other ones (except at the end after you beat the game) are this long.
Though the game rewards you well for sitting through it, since it introduces the story and some basic mechanics of the game. Once you get into the game, you will find top-notch gameplay.
It has been confirmed (read this thread) that the French intro was recited by a Polish speaker, and is intentionally poor French.
