How is the PS4 port?

Heh, IIRC I had the blood effect turned off when I played this PC version anyway. It just didn't seem like it fit. I remember being so used to that that I was surprised at the blood effect when I saw it on YouTube vids.

PS4 port was done by DotEmu . That pretty much says what you need to know, but just in case

Some of the bosses are bugged in ways that make them easier.

Arena spawns are messed up and only spawn everything on one part of the map instead of all around it.

Using the boss retry feature in Story or Time Attack Mode can cause the game to freeze or crash.

There's the music bugs.

It's based on an older version of the game, so you need to beat the game with both Yunica and Hugo to get the 3rd character. You also have to unlock Very Easy and Nightmare by beating the game with all 3 characters.


DotEmu has said that they're working on a patch for the known issues, but considering their history, you can probably expect it to maybe fix the bugs(if it even does) then break even more stuff.

I had it turned off too.
For me it made a scene where Roy died more emotional, because it still had blood.
