I don't know if this is the most efficient way, but I've been grinding it out defending Two Walls on Just Rockets mode.

1) You get 335 kills per round.
2) I think Just Rockets gives you more initial firepower relative to the enemies coming at you than regular mode, plus you don't have to think about which class you're going to place.
3) You don't have to think too much about where you want to place your Cubemen, or move them in successive rounds. Just put 3 on top of the wall nearest your spawn point, and then place all successive ones along the wall opposite your spawn point. Or start stacking the opposite part of the wall from the get-go. Either method works fine, you just sustain a little bit more damage going straight for the opposite side of the wall.
4) It only takes 4 rounds to stack the far part of the wall with your guys, and that's enough firepower to get through the next 16 rounds. You can alt-tab out and do something else while it runs (like I'm currently doing).

really? I can't alt-tab out...hence why I asked if anyone had an efficient method. But thanks! Will use yours now haha

Endless mode...?

I'd like to see it reduced. I am basically done with it and need to grind 15.000 cubemen to get the last achievement. Make it 40k and it is still a grind -.-.

Endless mode...?
I find endless is usually much harder than Rockets Only, so it isn't efficient.

I've found that using endless mode on the Starfighter level with nothing but rocket units gets you a good 4k+ kills per run.

Theres a small guide on this. Laziest way to do it is skirmish. Just Rockets gets you around 300 kills regardless of the map. Endless gives you lots of kills at the start, but slows down. Probably if you want to do Just Rockets, doing a custom map or Arrow would be better then Two Walls. It doesn't matter, just as long as you can kill the Crixus just as they leave the base.

I'm about to get the achievement (last run of Spacefighters in progress, about 3k kills left). Once I get it, I'm never playing Cubemen again, even though I liked it before I thought I'd get the achievement. -_-

I have all the other achievements and only have 20k kills. What a stupid achievement. 50k is waaaay too much.

For anyone who's still grinding for that stupid achievement: Try the level "Up High" with Rockets only. All you need to do is set up about 12 towers in the first 3 round and then you can just alt-tab out of it until it's over. It gives you about 350 kills every time. Not that much, but you don't have to constantly build stuff.

I'm getting 1400+ kills per play, but it's ok, I'm "only" 20k away from the objective :D
