In my opinion, the legitimacy of the scores is very important for the credibility and longevity of the game.
When players cheat online, it completely removes all the fun from it. I'd hate to see Cubemen continue to be contaminated with their poison. It's still fun, but I want to be number one at something, and will never be that if I'm against cheaters...
So, let me rephrase my original question:
Who has the highest legitimate score on Arrow? If you think it might be you, post your score and (if you feel generous) your strategy!
It contained a little information about the types of cheats people have available to them... Hopefully there is some relevant information in there. I don't mean to complain, you've got a great game here... But I hate to see the high score boards ruled by hackers.
The harder I push, the more chance legitimate scores will also get rejected.
Probably.
But was wondering, as dev, maybe you know, or there is a way for you to know, which score can be the best on each level?
Too many difference -> Pop-up on level result -> "Your score is (almost) impossible to get, so he won't figure on the leaderboard - If you did it legitaly, please send your explaination/video at XXX@cubementd.com"
But might be hard to put in place too, so I don't know :)
And the max score calc could only be done on Defense games.
I definitely think a pop-up on level result is not the way to go though, sorry. If a user can hack a score, they can bypass a prompt.
Anyway, I like to see devs taking care of their games, that's nice :)
