Is there anyone decent in this game?
Just bought game yesterday and havn't lost a single multiplayer game (usually 1v1) so far. It seems nobody here played a rts before (such as starcraft).

Gamers here just leave their units on the same spot all the time,
No micro to evade fire. Am i expecting too much? after all it is a simple micro/strategy game.

does anyone know how to chat in-game? I'd like to teach my opp how to play better.

General tips for any stage :
1. Use good old cheap Grill to cover enemy fire from more expensive units. Micro this unit to dodge enemy fire and replace it immediately once dead.
2.you need to use your range/enemy range well that round. if you click your unit you can see its vision.
3. Walls can block enemy fire, use it well to limit only certain number of enemies can hit your men. Your shots won't reach enemies behind walls too so watch closely whether ur units are hitting enemies and relocate if necessary.
4. if you can survive first few waves and manage to accumulate few Moty/Flint then it is easy afterwards.

For that stage i suggest putting 2~3 flints behind 3 large walls.

Hope this helps.

It sounds to me that your a little too old to play this type of game. I think it was designed for young players with less strategic knowlege.

I'm an uncle, whats U.N.C.L.E. an abbreviation for? Yes the strategy has been elementary so far. SpaceChem has been a challenge for me, check it out.

I just started yesterday - got it on discount on Steam - so still learning to play. I didn't even know I could move my men once I ordered them somewhere until I saw a youtube video with somebody doing it. I'll ahve to figure out how to do it. I'm having trouble winning the serpent level so far (like the 3rd level in) if that tells you anything about my skill level. LOL.

Samarost, I'm new to the game too. It took me a while on that second level learning what to do, but I used the #2 guy and #1 guy to start and moved him up to the first two elevated blocks on the red's first approach. I replaced as needed until I got 3 guys on the front row there. Then I put one of the #3 guys that shoot with range on the back line. After that added another #3 on the backline when was able to. That worked out to be a pretty good plan. Main thing was keep replacing the front line as needed with #1 and #2 guys (the #2 guys are pretty powerful in that location).

Swingline, my first few attempts on map 3 failed. I was then rushed for dinner so I said what the heck and sent my units to camp outside Reds base. It worked. Ever since then I added rushing/camping the enemys base as one of my strategies to try. There's usually casualities so I don't always use it. I prefer to win without losing units if possible.

Waldo Reed, I just replayed the serpent level tonight and did better this time. It's one where knowing I can move my troops around helps alot. Rushing the big dogs with my flamethrower guy (#2 guy) seems to work well, but I have to pay attention at constantly moving the troops around to get them away from danger and then move them in exactly when needed. Used alot for cannon fodder, drawing fire away from the troops I'm trying to protect, but at least I passed the level. I think I'll like this game once I get a better idea of what's going on.
