Online only Textures? + Bug

hi there

the first thing im going to say is that i bought this game recently and its awsome to be honest. though despite this however i have noticed an odd bug and a questionable feature.

firstly the questionable feature is the downloadable textures. now i would accept this if you could simply download it and it becomes avalable in offline mode however it seems to be that you can only apply map textures when connected to this internet. Out of interest why was the custom map texture feature made online only?

now for the bug.
when i started the game first i selected a texture from the options. ( i was online at the time when i first played it and was unaware of its online only feature) the next time i went on the game ( and was offline) i noticed that appart from the loss of the texture pack the map became realy bright to the point that it it impossable to see the layout of the map.

Thanks for reporting this... i'll get it fixed for the next update.

The textures are online only because that was how I implemented the as I figured at the time that people would always be online when they play on Steam. i've now been told that some players go offline so they can download content from other stores... or other reasons.

I'm getting the same issue. =P Hopefully this will be fixed - as I often play offline.

Yes it will be fixed in version 1.30 :-)

SUCCESS some one else who playes offline quite alot! im sure i could find lodes of outher people who are offliners however they never seem to be online :P
