Xbox 360 Controller: How to Map out the Buttons?
I understand this game has partial support for an xbox 360. Given that this game is still in the beta phase, is it possible they will add more support for the 360 controller? I would love to be able to edit my own buttons and increase/decrease the sensitivity of the analog sticks.

You can use a program called ControlMK to map ur mouse and keyboard buttons to the controller

I still have no idea why you would want to play archeblade on a controller. How is this gonna improve your game?

some people like me are used to using controllers so its more comfortable

The game itself supports the Joystick, you just can't edit your attack keys. It seems rather awkward.

Ah, I see, thank you.

As for the controller, it feels more comfortable to me. I'm a console gamer, so I would like something that is more natural. While there are pros and cons to keybard+mouse vs gamepad, one is not better then the other. It's just depends how good your are with your hands and reflexes. ^^

well game pad is incredibly gimped. you can't even block back attacks.
but at least there will be cannon fodder for rookies starting the game.

You will perform worse with a gamepad... just sayin.

Saying a gamepad will make you perform worst is your opinion. Some games work very well with a gamepad and other don't. Archeblade is a fast action based where a gamepad can easily work.

have you beat anyone yet?

The problem I garuntee you will encounter is not being able to turn quick enoug to block quick attacks from the side and back, like ♥♥♥♥'s aerial attack or Valle's hammer AoE from behind.

This game is very aim dependant. Trust me, you WILL have a hard time playing this game with a gamepad.

Well, since I have no way to edit the gamepad to how i want to, yeah it'll be hard as is. If i'm giving the options I need to edit the game, like sensitivy and what not, then I don't see much of a problem.

Is it stupidity or stuberness that drives them?

Hey, I'm a console gamer, and I prefer to play with a controller then a keyboard, what makes that so wrong?

Nothing in a general sense, but in this game, it's like playing with a blind fold, two hands behind your back.

You can't aim, you can't spin block. You can't do any of the tricks everyone else is doing.
If you truely want to lose that badly, then by all means, use a gamepad. We won't stop you.
