PB to créat a ArcheBlade Server
Hi, i currently downloaded ArcheBlade to play with friends in a private server, but when i follow the tutorial, and go to the server list in game, there isn't my server.
I open the port 7777-7780 (tpc udp the both) but without result.
If someone who knows how to creat a server, please explain me and this can help someone next.

Marco

You only need two consecutive ports per server. 7777 and 7778 will do. When you first open the server config panel it should have 7777 in the port box. As soon as you launch a server that port number will increment by two (this is so you can easily launch more than one server at a time). Check that box and make sure it says 7777.

Yeah thats not right. I can't read french but i get the idea that you can use a dash in your prot boxes. so just create one for tcp and one for udp and put 7777-7778 into the port boxes.

That is correct. The next server, if you were going to create more than one to run at once, would use ports 7779 and 7780.

It's a little hard to tell from your config picture but normally a serving PC would need to be using a stiatc IP on your network rather than an dynamic IP provided by your DHCP system in the router. You would configure that under your DHCP tab in the router and by using the Window network settings to set a static IP for your server machine.

i change my port like u : http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=321575livbug.png
and my config DHCP it's : http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=849421pbdhcp.png
but i don't know if there is right or not. but in the description of the game, the port is 7777-7780, why we take 7777-7778?
Thank you very much to take your time to help me =)

In the create server example they assume you are going to host more than 1 server at a time. Each server requires two consecutive ports so when the server configuration tool has 7777 in the port box it means this server we are about to create will use ports 7777 and 7778. If you hit create server again (the port box willhave hcnaged already to 7779) then the second server would use ports 7779 and 7780.

ok i think the pb isn't the port but my DHCP and IP static or IP not. but i believe i perfectly check the information. =( i start to believe we can't play in our server

i guess your DHCP setting in your router are correct but your still need to configure windows as well.

You need to tell windows to use the IP you have specified in your router rather than request one from your router's DHCP server.

your port settings are now correct for hosting 1 server.

Rather than me try to explain how to configure windows to use a static IP you are probably better off googling that yourself. However it looks to me like you router is now configured correctly. So you are almost there.
