They are going to add an in-game currency in the future though.
After the combo is over, you have the freedom to block or counterattacke, assuming you don't fall for a crossup or are not being stun locked by other players attacking you
Additionally, kiting back into your spawn is generally not a good idea on UnderSiege. I personally won't spawn camp but if I follow a Tiac with no health into your spawn and then I and my team happen to wipe all of you in your spawn, tough luck. We backed off multiple times trying to let you guys out so you'd have a fair chance to come back...
All I can really say, is stick in there, practice landing the first hit, and either find good team mates or hope the other team sucks. The game's only going to get better from here.
Edit:
Also, different characters have different Health/Armor pools, and your experience on a Renny is going to be far different than say Tiac or Danmei. Getting hit in the back causes you to take more damage, so even if you're getting juggled, make sure your camera is facing whomever is hitting you. The Difficulty bar at the bottom of the character select screen probably shouldn't go ignored (it's a measure of how difficult it is to learn a character).
