Lagging like hell
Even just joining the game itself from the start it lags like never before as if I have a massive memory leak problem, anyone else with this error or anyone know how to fix it? It looks like a great game but it is absolutely horrible to play with this lag.

I have a good enough PC to run BF3 on the highest settings smoothly in a full rush map as well as being able to play PS2 with full settings.

I've been having problems with the servers recently, hits not connecting when i see them hit, being teleported back to where i was after i used my shift as Renny.

These only seem to be recently as it was fine beforehand.

What map are you lagging on? If it's NetherDale, that would be why. It's laggy; devs are working on it.

High Ping is bad mkay. Hopefully they work on the rubberbanding with Renny and Danmei though.

No it's not a map, it's the game essentially since the start.

It might be because I am running a 32bit atm when I should be running 64bit but I still have an I5 for god sake, it shouldn't be lagging at all.

Intelcore I5, 8GB memory with 32bit that should be 64 bit soon again.

It's in the menu itself I am lagging like hell.

In the servers it's exactly the same kind of lag.

64bit has absolutely nothing to do with performance in the context of what we are talking about here. Nothing.

You do realize it's my discussion right..? v_v

Also 5850 Ati Radeon

I think Kokoro refers to the fact that "Lag" and "Low FPS" are two different things. "Lag" or "high Ping" has something to do with your internet-connection and is the delay between your input and the action ingame, so your graphic card, RAM and such have nearly nothing to do with it, its the internet-connection that makes the problems.
"Low FPS" ("stuttering" like a slide show, no smooth framerate and such), on the other hand, is a problem of the "power" of your PC, i.e. the graphic card, your RAM, and so on.

So, what exactly is the problem you experience? Cause "Lag" - like Kokoro said, really has not much to do with 32 or 64 bit.

32bit/64bit has nothing to do with it because at the moment Archeblade only runs in 32bit reguardless, even then all that means is 64bit can handle more codelines.

If your lagging from specs you say you have, the problem is either a corrupt game file related to graphics, or your some of your graphics drivers are corrupt/old, which can happen if you update them without a clean install.

Google how to do a clean install of updated drivers and see if that works, this happend to me where i could run any game fine except one that constantly fps lagged every 2min and a clean install of the drivers fixed it.

Actually, it was because of the 32bit system, I had my pc upgraded to a 64bit today and it fixed the FPS dropping. the game now runs as smooth as a babycheek.

No it wasn't. The clean install might have helped but the bitness of your system has nothing to do with it.
Niko May 8, 2013 @ 6:07am
The low memory capacity might have caused it. and 5850 isn't crappy, it's standard but not crappy.

I have had a lot of issues with ATI cards on any of my old builds. Eventually moved to nVidia and haven't had a problem since. Most common issue was the ATI cards burning out after 6 months. Got a pain =[
