Regarding the game being 'pay to win" there are currently twelve characters with a free to play rotation of seven per week. Every hero has thus far has been free to play more than once, the only difference between buying or not buying a hero is whether or not you get to play them when they are out of the rotation. So in theory there is really no "upper hand" in purchasing a hero rather than getting to play them as you wish.
Once again your feedback is appreciated and I invite you to read the following post from the team:

I also invite you to read a post as authored by a member of the community that focuses on balance in the game, this post can be read here:

Finally regarding the nature of some of your posts I ask you to keep in mind the Steam Discussions Rules and Guidelines
That said, This game is no pay 2 win. At all. All characters have weaknesses and strengths. They are all beatable, the balance is quite solid. The best you can do is voice your frustration at what is killing you. When you know that, think of a way to beat that strategy. If there's a very specific way to deal with it, like 1 or 2 counters, I think it's broken and needs to be looked at.
This game definitely feels like your skill is the most important factor of the game.
First of all this game is far from p2w, i dont see how its p2w if you eventually get to play every character ingame, as Maestromind said 7 characters a week.
You have all characters unlocked for you to try in training mode so i dont really get what you mean, and there will be a tutorial mode in the future to teach you stuff. (At least dev said its in the works)
First are you implying that you're a hardcore gamer? because you don't look like one. After playing Archeblade for only 1.1 hours you come here and talk about p2w and kids beating you.
I hope you do realize that just because you lost to someone doesn't mean he's a 12-year old spoiled kid who won because he had a better character than you. This game is more about skill than anything else, you didn't have enough skill to beat your opponent, thats it. The current rotation is great actually, i have no idea why you're complaining about p2w with awesome characters in free rotation. Just tells me that you're not very good in the game yet, and thats normal.. you only played 1.1 hours.
this was my favorite part.
implying anyone who disageees is a troll and is in the wrong.
you have played this game for 1.1 hours and expect know for sure the champions not in this weeks rotation are needed to counter the ones who are?
go back to tourchlight.
Such brats don't deserve to play.
That quite honestly doesn't make since other then to find another way to make money so that people can win.
I stay at this point of reasoning because you can't ever randomize a handful of characters for a player to use and expect them to win against someone who has bought all the ones they need to win.
No matter how you slice it there's still no difference in this game needing to be a "try before you buy" game "instead of a pay 2 win."
There's no way in this life or the next are you ever going to be able to make this game work with a "character rotation" or better yet a: "money grab pay to win" rotation for those coward based twinks out there.
Also to everyone else in disbelief you all obviously don't understand how fighting mechanics work at all, the will of the player, and most of all their skill.
The idea about the game is not to master every character it's to know what you're going to pick before you go out and realize if that was the best choice or not for that particular fight.
None of you obviously have played REAL competitive games like Halo 4 or the Gears of Wars series have you?
Especially Mortal Kombat games, you guys have no clue of what real gaming is or even what action is.
Archeblade = LIMITED Arcade Combat.
No thank you.
Oh and to those little pricks out there always trying to hate and troll me I want you to specifically know you guys I have tried enough "Arcade Combat BS" games that were put out just like this one before there's NO DIFFERENCE other then you now limit characters you play with to decrease value in the game so ♥♥♥♥ OFF.
I've seen better then this, but the best part is I don't have to end up forking my money to you guys.
I'll just watch you guys burn because you're just a simple Pay 2 Win game, there are many like you out here that'll put this game to the floor in a heartbeat.
Go ahead keep trash talking all you want, but I know what you are and know how these games go down.
Maestro, you should have also mentioned how you're working on making an in-game currency that will allow you to purchase heroes/champions/whatever after you've earned enough.
As stated here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/207230/discussions/10/828934913329872250/
Hm... Maybe this could help me look on the silver linning then.
Okay community I'll try getting ahold of this and be a bit more paitient okay?
Just IGNORE my previous comments from ABOVE so you don't get confused.
I agree, I didn't really realize completely that this game was still in development at all.
I will wait till then, but also did want to say I do LOVE the graphics AND interesting design of each of the characters though.
LOL, dang it kokoro. You beat me to it. I was going to quote the exact same thing, and post someting similar. :P
