New players, read this
You can now choose to play with other new players so as not be overwhelmed by veterans and become a hinderance to them in team modes. Trust me, it eases the rage and complaints you'll get.
After you click 'Network Play', on the top left, you'll see a tab that reads 'rank'. Under that, you will see the rank that the server/lobby includes. At this time, it'll go by either 'off', which anybody can join and 'militia' which is for new players level 1-5. You'll be able to gain experience with people around your skill level without being constantly pummled by my merciless fury.
The reason I brought this up was because I was playing a Steam Canal game where everyone was completely new. Long story short, rage and ignorance were amok two specific new players and me in that game.
This is the first time I've played Steam Canal in a while. I mostly stick to Nagas Pit because the skill difference in team modes are usually always unbalanced and even against a team of totally new players, if your team is also a bunch of new players, it's still pretty difficult to win when your team is taken out and they still have 3 or 4 people left- especially when you're like me and main a Sewon in team modes.
Not to say that newer players should be 'banned' from off rank servers but it'd probably be better to build up some experience in Militia first.
I forgot to mention that you can also order games by rank by clicking the 'rank' tab above the servers on the top left. This way, you'll be able to order the servers by Militia games first.
