Thanks to the input from fellow gamers they help greatly in refining this final review on the Valve/Steam experience.
Like all services providers I am only paying for service not really buying a product in the conventional sense. So when I pay the service provider Valve for something on the digital Steam Storefront, well I am only paying for a DRM game license to run through Valves DRM client Steam, nothing more nothing less. I don't have any sense of real freedom and ownership like with my retail Console/ PC collection.
So no I can't recommend this type of gaming experience at full price, but only on a sale price. Less freedom for the end user is never a good thing is it? For that reasoning I buy cheap and thumb down this service orientated DRM of this nature, just sayin.
If I did actually own LoG in the conventional sense I would recommend to fans of this genre as a must buy at any price. Thank gawd for indie developers for keeping this retro style still fun and relevant to game on even today. A great dungeon crawler full of puzzles, secrets, traps, monsters and mystery. Titles like LoG all most makes engaging in this DRM BS worthwhile, but ooh don't quote me lol.
