Grimrock is pretty clearly drawing influence from these retro-RPGs, and it's hard to pinpoint any single one.
It reminds me of Dungeon Master the most, one of the games I had a blast playing as a teenager. 75% Off I'm sold! ;)

But yes, Legend of Grimrock is a GREAT game and if anyone is wondering it is a classic "Dungeoncrawl" game with a real-time combat twist. The end is CRAZY-PANTS!
I've only spent about an hour with the game so far, but it is encredibly immersive due to the first-person camera and great aesthetic. If you even remotely like dungeon crawlers, and possibly if you don't judging by the posts above, you will enjoy this game.
YOU WILL GET SCARED A COPPLE OF TIMES BUT IT IS FUN
