You can do it, you just think you can't. Don't give up so easily. Hang in there.

Well, reading this, I am also "extemely disappointed". I just bought the game and I just hate puzzles that rely on quick reflexes. If I want a "platformer", I'll buy that. When I buy a RPG, I don't want puzzles that need you to reload every time you miss. Oh well, I guess I'll see once I get there!

I only remember one puzzle that actually needs fast timing, and it is toward the end of the game (IIIRC, it was for a secret area, and not required to progress). Most of the puzzles that look like they need perfect timing can be made eaiser with simple tricks. It has been a few weeks since I finished the game, but maybe I can remember something that might help. What puzzle(s) are you stuck on?

None of the puzzles require crazy twitch reflexes. If you find yourself missing a step by a second or so try turning down the graphics just for the spot you're having trouble with.

thanks metro i'll try that. fingers crossed :)

Hope it works out for you. There are very few spots in the game where timing is cut that close so don't worry too much.

also observe the pattern and remember it, you can do it by memorising the steps without turning that should make it much easier

turning down the graphics worked :) thanks metro your a star....i still don't like those kind of puzzles. hopefully the dev's will leave them out on the next one and put more thinking puzzles than quick reflex one's.

Stop assuming they are twitch puzzles, and you should soon realize that you haven't figured out the thinking way of solving them.

If you need a speed boost, lower the graphics. Even if it seems the game plays ok, all is fluent and such, its nowhere near as fast as it should be. It helps in fights as well.

On the other hand, I managed all puzzles with high settings except the iron door light catching, where I realy had to switch.

really? the floor puzzle on level 6 is so fast and frustrating it's crazy! if you miss 1 step, or are slightly off in timing you must try again...and again...and again...

i agree, i thought it would be like the games i used to play in the 90's... so exited on the first level's. then repetitvely repeating actions ruined it a bit for me to :(

there is a lot of puzzles that need a perfect timing of a lots of movements (and found it a bit frustrating). It's true that most of them are not crucial, and are only to achieve secrets, or extra equipment, but to me it's a little disapointing.

i think that this it's a very good game, but if the devs include a "dificulty option" for the timing puzles, as they did whit the maps, it will be perfect for everybody.
