Legend Of Grimrock is Dungeon Master
If your a long time gamer (like me) you may remember a game way back when (87 I think) called :Dungeon Master" check it out ont You Tube :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3UdUWU4j1Y this is a bit refined and has better graphics but it's the same thing. I for one got it on sale but I like it, DM was a fav of mine. If your into modern FPS or D&D stuff you may not like it but old gamers like me should. I would pay the $15 though, but that's just me.

I remember fondly this game back in the days I had my Atari 1040ST (1988?). Discovering LofG this week was great fun ! I even had to put Skyrim aside for a while ;-)

Well, Legend of Grimrock is a dungeon-crawler, so obviously it has many similarities with Dungeon Master. But you might as well name the other titles that this game is inspired off, such as Eye of the Beholder, Lands of Lore and Ultima Underworld to just name a few.

Good Point, and your right, but the one I remember best (for some reason) is DM. The LoL was a great game too, I still have the floppy for that one.

All I thought was Wizardry, and a bit of the Phantasy Star dungeon sequences.
I loved how, in Phantasy Star, they actually animated your rotation around the dungeon, and pretty smoothly too.
