Hopefully this will be added to the sequel.

The developers had toyed with the idea of random dungeons for the sequal but in the end decided to drop it. See this blog[www.grimrock.net] for their reasoning.

Won't happen because LoG is no rogue-like game as i.e. Diablo is.

To put it simple: LoG is not about grinding thus dungeon randomization definately won't be seen here. Bored with the original dungeon? Get and play some of the 700+ mods or even make your own.

Loot randomisation is a different thing which can and is actually done but to a rather small extend.

yeah randomisation would put this game in a different genre, this genre is characterised by careful crafted levels and puzzles, with the difficulty curve and monster/loot placement just so... put in randomisation and all of that goes out of the window.

You could make a game like this with randomisation but that would work much better as a rogue-like. Also I think you would end up with some pretty crap dungeon levels with randomisation, thats always been a major flaw for games that do it.
