Where art thou been?
"My oh my where art thou been?"

I have been waiting so long for a game like this to return to the fore. There has been an extremely long absence of these type of games from the industry I almost forgot how much fun they are/were. After seeing an add for this game on steam I was excited hoping that it was worth the admission.

......and YESSSS it was!!! Thank you devs for giving us a little piece of great pie that is chocked full of goodies and you really put a smile back on my videogame face.

As I mentioned before....for the last decade and a half games like these have been absent and sorely missed. Instead the poly boom with games like quake, etc and their free full roaming 3d BS became the staple; leaving this type in the dust. Sadly until the last 4-5 years have devs been able to optimize full 3d presentation and we were left with horrid graphical menaces with dull and smeared textures.

To tell you the truth I don't consider this game so much nastolgic as it is perfection of what should have been so long ago. Just like sidescrollers and platformers were kinda dev shelfed for awhile and what a shame....some of the funnest games we had were like this type and those sidescrollers.

"DARN YOU QUAKE, UNREAL TOURNAMENT, ETC....DARN YOU!!!"

I really couldn't appreciate the old first person maze crawlers as I got to them too late that the graphical and interface issues were overwhelming to deal with, having this game give a modern interface and smooth graphical style made the entire genre open up for me.
